Flash2Bang is a tool for determining the distance to a target using the widely taught Flash-to-Bang Method.
THE FLASH-TO-BANG METHOD
The current Flash-to-Bang method sees soldiers, sailors, and marines counting the seconds between seeing an explosion or muzzle flash, and hearing the resulting concussion or sound. Those seconds are then multiplied by 350 to determine the approximate number of meters the target is from the observer. Flash2Bang provides this target data in two taps. Unlike performing the method in your head or on your OF fan, Flash2Bang does the calculations for you with more accurate results. If you read 350 as “three-five-zero,” this app is for you.
